The first military post in Denver is the neighborhood known as Fort Logan. Fort Logan is bounded by US Highway 285, the Pinehurst Country Club, Marston Lake, and S Federal Blvd. Though a car is necessary to get around in this neighborhood, it is rated highly as one of Denver’s safest neighborhoods. The historic Fort Logan National Cemetery brings in many visitors as well as it is 214 acres of veterans and their family member’s.
