Divine Iron Gym, a new 50,000-square-foot women-only fitness concept, is getting ready to open in Tampa’s Westshore Plaza, and it’s not your average boutique studio.
This gym may have familiar amenities, a full weight room, group fitness, recovery lounge, spa-style amenities, but no men allowed.
It’s designed to be a space where women can train without the weird looks, interruptions, or energy of a traditional gym. Think: Equinox meets girl gang.
We already have some great women-focused fitness spots in Denver, gyms like VIBE and Chin-Up Training offer inclusive, supportive communities for women and LGBTQ+ lifters. But nothing on this kind of scale.
Could something like Divine Iron work here?
The high-end fitness market in Denver is clearly heating up.
Life Time opened in Wheat Ridge last year, Boulder’s club opens this spring, and a massive Northfield buildout could be on the way.
On top of that, rumors are flying about Equinox finally landing in Cherry Creek.
But while luxury, co-ed fitness centers expand across the metro, maybe the next big play is hyper-specialized.
Would women here show up for a massive, high-design gym made exclusively for them?
What neighborhood would this work in? RiNo? Cherry Creek? City Park?
