The single story retail building at the corner of Steele & 2nd Avenue might be transformed into a 5-story, 37-unit condominium building with ground floor retail and 75 underground parking spaces.
The developer on record is PMG, with Shears Adkin Rockmore as the architect and Martin Martin Consulting Engineers as the engineer.
The condominium units will range from 1,894 square feet to 2,879 square feet with approximately 3,500 square feet of ground floor retail.
The building is currently occupied by Bloom and Patxi's Pizza who closed in 2022.
Property Markets Group purchased the lot in 2021 for $18.75M. The owner also snapped up the adjacent lot at 165 Steele Street (Lot 013) for $8.25M back in 2022. We were unable to uncover any plans for 165 Steele.
Plans are still under review with the City. Stay tuned for more updates!
