The Sidewok Cafe building along Colfax Avenue & Yates Street just hit the market for $2.5 million.
Originally built in 1931, this 3,274 square foot building has been occupied by Sidewok Cafe for over 15 years.
Prior to Sidewok Cafe, this building was home to various restaurants aimed at serving the many transients of Colfax Avenue and was once a night club called the Purple Turtle.
The site makes perfect for a new development considering the corner frontage on Colfax and the U-MS-5 zoning which permits an apartment building up to 5 stories.
Considering the short time on the market, we'll have to wait and see who the purchaser will be to know if the Sidewok Cafe will remain a Colfax staple.
