redT Homes has taken a significant leap forward in its objective to develop eco-friendly residential spaces by securing substantial financial backing of $26.6 million from Techo Real Estate Capital. This funding will facilitate the development of 54 innovative LiteHomes and LiteDuos at the picturesque Howard Ranch location off Hyatt Lake in Arvada. Prospective homeowners can look forward to moving into these sustainable homes as early as the summer of 2026.
The Howard Ranch development transcends conventional housing projects by setting a new standard in sustainable living. Each meticulously designed home will hold LEED Gold certification and boast the prestigious ENERGY STAR rating. This not only underscores redT Homes’ steadfast dedication to eco-conscious and high-performance construction but also resonates with the growing consumer demand for environmentally responsible living options.
Spanning an impressive 13 acres, the Howard Ranch site is designed with an integrated approach to nature. In addition to the innovative housing units, significant portions of the land will remain as open spaces. A major tree-planting initiative is planned, which aims to enrich the local ecosystem and create a harmonious environment that blends seamlessly with the natural beauty surrounding Arvada.
“At redT Homes, our vision is to redefine residential development by prioritizing sustainability and innovation,” explained a representative from redT Homes. “With Howard Ranch, we’re not just building homes—we’re creating a community where energy efficiency and modern living go hand in hand. Our goal is to set a new standard for eco-friendly housing in Arvada, delivering LEED Gold and ENERGY STAR-certified homes that provide lasting value for homeowners while contributing to our mission of building a greener Colorado. We’re excited to bring this vision to life and to offer future residents a place they’ll be proud to call home.”
In addition to showcasing state-of-the-art construction techniques, redT Homes has demonstrated its commitment to the community by engaging extensively with Arvada’s residents. This collaboration prompted a valuable redesign of the development plan, which effectively reduced the total number of housing units from 69 to 54 and significantly increased the allotment of open space threefold. Moreover, redT Homes has committed to an ambitious environmental initiative involving the planting of approximately 4,000 trees across Arvada’s city limits. Such actions further solidify the company’s unwavering promise to environmental sustainability and community strength.
