Denver based Huckleberry Roasters is planning to open up shop at the intersection of W 38th Ave and N Harlan St in Wheat Ridge.
Huckleberry will be occupying the 2,080 square feet building formerly occupied by Everyday convenience store. It appears the convenience store struggled to compete with the 711 directly across the street, so a specialty coffee shop makes sense especially at a busy intersection.
Huckleberry Roasters was founded in 2011 and has grown to two locations currently at 4301 N Pecos St in Sunnyside and 1800 Wazee St in Lodo. According to their website, their goal is to serve tasty coffee that will make people happy while striving to be a socially conscious business that invests in people and seeks out collaboration, both locally and globally.
