The new location, which took over the former Waffle Brothers space, has been completely transformed with a $140,000 remodel.

The story of Café Miriam is as rich as its menu. Founder Touhami Elfahdi, a seasoned traveler with a passion for hospitality, set out in 2016 to create something special—not just a café, but a gathering place.

He found the perfect spot across from City Park and enlisted his children, Miriam and Jamil, to help bring the vision to life. With determination, creativity, and a lot of hands-on work, the family designed and built the café themselves, learning the business from the ground up.

When Café Miriam officially opened in June 2017, the response was electric. Lines stretched out the door, pastries vanished from the shelves, and baristas barely had time to catch their breath between pulling espresso shots.

The café quickly became a neighborhood gem, known not only for its delicious fare but also for its warm, welcoming atmosphere—a place where every guest feels like family.
