Buc-ee's, the Texas-based travel center chain, is set to open its first Colorado location in Johnstown in spring 2024. Located at the southwest corner of Interstate 25 and County Road 48, this new facility marks Buc-ee's first expansion outside the South.
The Johnstown Buc-ee's will be a substantial 74,000 square feet, featuring 116 fueling stations and the chain's signature clean bathrooms. Although initially projected to be the largest Buc-ee's in the country, a new Texas location will slightly surpass it in size.
Local excitement is high, with Johnstown Mayor Gary Lebsack hailing the project as a significant retail development for northern Colorado. In preparation for the opening, Buc-ee's is hosting a hiring event from January 23 to January 27 8am to 4pm at Embassy Suites in Loveland. Job seekers can get more information at buc-ees.com.
Buc-ee's expansion to Colorado is a notable step in the chain's growth, building on its over 50 locations across the South, including more than 40 in Texas.
