2205 Washington Street

The owner of the triangle lot just North of Safeway bordering Washington Street, Court Place and Cleveland Place in Five Points is proposing to construct a 43,535 square foot, 5 story, 48-unit multifamily building.

The lot was purchased by Mainspring on 1/22/2018 for $2,235,750 from the Denver Housing Authority. Mainspring is a real estate and business development firm based in Denver.

According to their website, Mainspring builds, owns and operates places to work, live and play.

Some of Mainsprings projects you may recognize are Back Yard on Blake, Blue Sparrow Coffee, or Queens Eleven.

Currently, half of the lot is being used as a dog park, which is an excellent interim use until construction is set to begin in the second half of next year.

According to public records, the proposed development will also include 28 off-street parking spaces.

Considering this project is still in the early stages, we were unable to uncover renderings and a unit mix schedule. We'll be sure to check back at groundbreaking with more details!
