230 Unit Housing Community Headed to Golden

Last week, JLL announced the arrangement of a construction loan for a 230-unit housing community that'll be known as The Charles at Denver West.

The property is at the intersection of Denver W Parkway and Denver West Marriott Blvd right across from the Denver Marriot.

Formerly, the property consisted of a 24 year old 35,543 square foot office building known as the Coleman Building.

The property was listed for sale by CBRE, who were aiming to find a business to owner-occupy the office, however with the prime corner location in the desirable town of Golden, a redevelopment play is certainly the better option.

According to JLL, The Charles at Denver West will include 1, 2 and 3 bedroom units averaging 972 square feet. Amenities will consist of a swimming pool, jacuzzi spa, saunas, fitness center, barbeque areas and a dog park. External amenities include close access to South Table Mountain Park along with excellent proximity to I-70. We'll be tracking with development and will check back with any updates!
